Adesh, Adesh! …and Welcome to Volume 3, No. 1 of The Open Door. Spring arrived this year bringing with it the manifestation of the long awaited Scrolls of Mahendranath. At 136 pages, the “Scrolls” contain a boiling cauldron of both spiritual wisdom and pagan magick. At last, and now in one place, friends and initiates of the International Order of Naths will be afforded a new and expansive view into our cosmic order. The eleven manuscripts and assorted appendices of the “Scrolls” brilliantly reflect a representative collection of Shri Gurudev’s most telling writings. The practical unity of compiling these manuscripts into one book will be readily appreciated by those sincere and interested spirit particles who take this opportunity for a closer look into our ways and patterns.

We live in a quickly changing world, and so express our love to humanity by producing a work which may help many to regain their equipoise in the Cosmic Suspension. It was our sincere intention to present the “Scrolls” in such a way so that a number of vital spiritual patterns and guidelines will be more easily recognized and assimilated. We look forward to hearing your comments about our publication of Shri Gurudev’s collection, as we wish to refine the presentation of his writings prior to future printings.

Since I last reported in, Kailash Zonule also celebrated the 79th birthday of our lovable scroll spinner and Merlin, Shri Gurudev Mahendranath. Chocolate cake and an amusing time were savored by all present at our festive communion. What next? Guru Purnima. This year Guru Purnima will be joyously observed on July 7th. Weirdglow Zonule of Vancouver, Canada will be hosting this year’s celebration upon a small inlet island just off the coast of British Columbia. Space is somewhat limited, so please notify us soon if you wish a place by the dhuni this year. All in all, an interesting time for our Order. A fresh update of our activities and report will be available from us this Summer. Until then, may we remain one in the Weirdglow spirit, and with happiness and psychic elasticity for all…

It is beyond all fear and frustration, for nothing in the relative world can harm or impede it. This understanding in its fullest awareness will make a disciple see that even the concepts of realization and liberation are all relative, because the soul is immortal and has always been free. How then can there be liberation for that which is already liberated? Or union with the Absolute when the soul has never been separated? If this is true and obvious, why then are men and women still in the bondage of relativity and think relative and material things are real? The answer is maya, the mystic, magick power of Shakti which manifests, makes and creates the relative and forms the basic delusion of all mankind. It means that between Truth and mankind hangs the eternal veil of maya delusion. Rend the veil and Truth, no longer obscured, reveals itself.”
